 The Mayor of London’s TechInvest: Health Tech

The next event in the Mayor of London’s TechInvest programme will focus on entrepreneurs using data-driven and digital technologies to revolutionise health and care across London. TechInvest Health Tech will present to investors, 10 of the leading London-based digital and data-driven start-up and scale-ups that are converging technologies with medicine and healthcare to improve the efficiency and delivery of prediction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care.

  • Start-up, early stage or scaling up businesses that demonstrate cutting-edge HealthTech solutions that positively impact the lives of the Capital’s communities
  • Businesses should demonstrate that they are converging digital and data-driven technologies with medicine and healthcare to improve the efficiency and delivery of prediction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care
  • Our industry expert panel of judges will select the top-10 applications that truly show potential to scale and those businesses will have the opportunity pitch and network to an audience of over 120 Angel Investors, VC’s and industry elites.


  • The competition series for Event 6: Health Tech runs from 17th December ’18 – 21st January ’19
  • Applicants will be considered by an esteemed judging panel & informed of their success 28th January ’19
  • The ten selected entrepreneurs will receive UKBAA bespoke, expert guidance and tools in developing and refining their pitch and they will each be required to attend a one hour one to one mentoring session, This will take place during the week of 28th to 1st February – Attending the pitch rehearsal is a requirement to present. Please ensure that you uphold a place in your diary to schedule a time with UKBAA during that period
  • Each selected business will be required to attend the TechInvest showcase event between 5pm and 8:00pm on 6th February. Being part of this prestigious Mayor of London TechInvest event provides extensive company profile and promotion with the details of your business presented in our specially designed brochure and further profile with pictures on our website post-event and further press and media coverage.
