The Mayor of London’s TechInvest: Women in Tech

The fifth event in the Mayor of London’s TechInvest programme will taking place on 27th November and showcase London’s leading Women in Tech, with a focus on female tech founders making an impact in London as a Global Tech Capital. The forthcoming TechInvest will present 10 of the most innovative women-led start up and scale up businesses seeking investment to grow. We are seeking to identify and present inspirational female-led teams, building ground breaking solutions that impact London and the Capital’s global leading tech scene.


Businesses applying should be based in London and demonstrate strong female leadership in the founding team. The business can be focusing on different tech sectors and applications but should demonstrate that their technology offers solutions to impact and improve London both present and future.


Who should apply?


  • Start-up, early stage or scaling up women-led businesses that demonstrate cutting-edge Tech solutions that positively impact the Capital through innovation and disruption

What are the key requirements?


  • One female on the founding team that plays an active role in the growth and expansion of the company. The female founder must be the one pitching at the showcase. 
  • Demonstrate that your technology offers efficiency and/or speed, market scalability and is providing a solution to improve and enhance London its’ communities 
  • Actively raising investment
  • Based in London



    • Winners will receive UKBAA expert bespoke guidance and tools in developing their pitch and 1-to-1 mentoring
    • Winners will be given exclusive access to the UKBAA member DealShare platform to showcase your innovative business and funding round

All businesses selected to pitch will be asked to join UKBAA for a 1-hour pitch rehearsal session scheduled between the days of 19th- 23rd November.

Attending the pitch rehearsal is a requirement to present, please ensure to hold a place in your diary to schedule time with UKBAA 

Presenters will gain extensive profile and promotion as part of this prestigious tech programme as part of Mayor of London’s goal to maintain that London is a leading global tech hub.
