The next Mayor of London’s TechInvest event will showcase a range of London’s leading innovators tackling the challenges of climate change and global warming. With COP26 being held in Glasgow later this year, the UK has committed to working with all countries to join forces with civil society, companies and people on the frontline of climate change to inspire climate action ahead of the event. The Mayor has been clear that sustainability and the green economy are pivotal to London’s recovery from Covid-19, offering London’s GreenTech founders the opportunity to play a key role in redefining the ways in which we’re tackling the effects of climate change, managing its side effects or finding ways to manage the city’s resources in the most sustainable way.
We will be showcasing businesses that are using technology to improve areas such as air pollution, climate change, energy production, renewables, waste reduction, clean water, transport, low carbon – and any other GreenTech applications relevant to London. This next TechInvest event will showcase 10 stand-out startup to scale-up businesses that are actively raising between £250k-£3m.
During this live online showcase, investors will have the opportunity to engage with each presenting business during a live Q&A session, following the pitch presentations. In addition to engaging with the businesses during the pitching event, all investors will be sent a event programme ahead of the event and following the event with a full event recording to connect with all of the fantastic founders.
All investors that attended the event obtained access to UKBAA’s exclusive DealShare platform – an online marketplace made by investors, for investors. Review deals and co-investment opportunities and be part of the UK’s leading investment community. Find out more here.
Connect with pioneering businesses, delivering innovative solutions to revolutionise their respective industries – this is an opportunity to engage with a group of exciting, industry defining start-ups and scaleups, enabling them to accelerate their growth.
